I took my first full time payroll job in the head office of a national charity working as part of a team responsible for paying over 3000 employees each month. Having decided to study for my CIPP qualifications, I looked for a job that would give me a more varied exposure to payroll processing and joined RPD as Payroll Administrator in January 2018.

Achievements within your professional life you are particularly proud of?

Returning to study later in life and completing my Foundation Degree with the CIPP.

An HR professional

Having my 3 children (boys)

One thing that you learned at school that has helped you in your professional life?

The words ‘Tuck your chair in before you have an accident’ still ring true – although its more often handbag straps that catch me out!

Your favourite holiday destination?

India – been once and can’t wait to go back and see more

What did you want to be “when you grew up”?

Anything that involved using a date stamp and ink pad – maybe a librarian or a bank clerk

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Jogging, walking, city breaks, holidays.
