Career rundown

Started at RPD as a trainee in 1988 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 and with the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1994. In 1995 I became a Director of the company. Over time I have moved towards specialising in tax and helping businesses, individuals and trusts.

Other positions held

Director of Crawley Town Centre BID Company Ltd, Treasurer and Executive member for Gatwick Diamond Business, Level 2 qualified cricket coach.

Achievements within your professional life you are particularly proud of?

Being the sixth youngest Chartered Accountant to be made a Director in the UK.

What would you be if you weren’t an accountant?

Any career that involves working with people and numbers.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?

Helping people to achieve something more than they expected or to secure a stronger financial status than they previously had.

Who are your favourite authors?

Andy McDermott, Clive Cussler, Dan Brown.

What’s your lifetime ambition?

To have a life with no regrets.

What’s your favourite football/rugby team?

Fulham Football Club.

What makes you laugh?

The thought of being the man in the Lynx advert!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Sport (especially cricket, running, cycling, swimming and triathlons), parties, music concerts and any time spent with friends!

If you could have witnessed a significant event in history, what would it be?

To have been in Australia when England won the Rugby World Cup!
