This year’s RPD Annual Footgolf Fundraiser was a fantastic mix of friendly rivalry, impressive footwork, and heartfelt generosity, with teams from across the region bringing their A-game to the course. The atmosphere was electric from the first kick to the final putt, as players chased trophies, personal bests, and, of course, a bit of well-earned bragging rights. Verdant Financial Planning Ltd proved unstoppable, taking the title of overall champions with a superb score of 98, while in the 4pm session, Leon from Knights claimed Nearest the Pin and Jordan from NatWest (who left before we could grab a photo) delivered a Longest Drive that still has people talking. The evening brought even fiercer competition, with Southern Sheeting securing an outstanding 107 points in the 6pm session, alongside Joel O’Brian’s Nearest the Pin win and Josh from KPMG UK smashing the Longest Drive.

While the competition was thrilling, the true highlight was the generosity and community spirit on display. Thanks to the amazing support of all who played, donated, and cheered from the sidelines, we raised an incredible £2,376 for Home-Start UK. This national charity provides vital practical and emotional support to parents of young children facing challenges such as mental health struggles, financial pressures, and social isolation, ensuring no family has to face hardship alone. Their mission reflects our own values of supporting people, building community, and driving real change, and we are proud to stand beside them.
