As the RPD Foundation continues to grow our CSR Brokerage Programme, we’re thrilled to share some incredible progress and impact from the pilot phase. What began as an ambitious plan to connect 12 companies with 12 community groups has evolved into a thriving network of partnerships driving real, measurable social value across our region.

Expanding Beyond Expectations

We’re proud to share that as of 31st October, the CSR Brokerage has:

• 55 organisations now part of our network
  26 companies actively engaging through the brokerage
• 25 community groups benefit directly
• 37 marketplace matches, with donations totalling £1,751
• 7 surplus resource matches, valued at £1,490
  9 volunteering partnerships, including skills-based support, valued at £7,586

Together, these activities have generated a total social value of £65,172, an outstanding result that highlights the growing impact of the brokerage project.

A Growing Movement of Purpose-Led Partnerships

The Brokerage has been designed to create meaningful, long-term connections between the business and community sectors. By matching company resources, skills, and time with the needs of local charities, we help unlock mutual value, strengthening both community resilience and employee engagement.

The rapid growth of the pilot reflects the power of collaboration and shared purpose. With more companies and community groups in the pipeline, we’re excited to continue expanding the reach and impact of this initiative in the months ahead.

What’s Next: Giving the Brokerage Its Identity

With the programme’s success and momentum, it feels like the perfect time to give the CSR Brokerage its own identity. In December, we’ll be working with our Steering Group to develop a name that reflects the vision, collaboration, and positive energy driving this initiative. We look forward to unveiling this in our next update.
