Local Charities

At Richard Place Dobson we have a long history of acting for charities. Around half of our clients within the charity and not for profit sectors are locally or community based charities and with the new Charities Act 2006, never has our experience in this sector been more in demand.

We continue to help our charity clients to fulfil their accounting and legal obligations and, where necessary, we have helped set many of them up as registered charities. Many charities do not have the benefit of having suitably qualified treasurers or trustees and so we are always happy to provide support, information and assistance in areas beyond compliance.

Any accountant will be able to help you with your basic accounting requirements but at Richard Place Dobson our extensive experience means we understand the issues you are facing and we can really make a difference, leaving you free to focus on the issues important to you.
