Experienced Professionals
We require an accounts semi-senior to assist with our client workload. The role would suit a person with at least three years recent experience in a quality accountancy practice, possibly with qualification to AAT/CAT level. The applicant must be fully conversant with all aspects of double entry as well as having experience of a range of business entities and the ability to take assignments beyond Trial Balance stage to full Financial Statements, as well as an ability to take on new areas of work.
Main duties: Undertaking accounts preparation assignments for a wide variety of clients under tight deadlines on own initiative and to deal with all related documentation. Accuracy is vital. The work will include a certain amount of direct client contact and working at clients premises, mainly in the Crawley area.
Applicants should have a thorough working knowledge of the procedures necessary to produce Financial Statements from a range of bookkeeping systems, both manual and computerised. They should have good organisational skills and be able to work accurately in a timely manner as part of a team and supporting one of our Client Managers. The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and personable.
The ability to use Word, Excel and standard business accounting software is assumed. Training will be provided for the specific packages to be used within the office. Training for ACA and ACCA examinations would not be part of this position.
Hours – 37.5 per week
Salary – market rate according to skills and experience.
